Local and International Memorandum of Understanding and Memberships

First: Local Memorandum of Understanding:
Jordan Securities Commission JSC has concluded numerous bilateral agreements and memorandum of understanding with local entities to promote financial literacy and awareness and to enhance communication and coordination among them to achieve common goals.

Second: International Memorandum of Understanding:
The Commission has concluded numerous bilateral agreements and memorandum of understanding with several international entities, including capital market supervisory entities and relevant Arab and international organizations. In addition, it has concluded multilateral memorandum of understanding as part of its membership in the International Organization of Securities Commissions IOSCO and the Union of Arab Securities Authorities UASA.

Third: Memberships:
In line with the Commission’s efforts to develop the legislative, regulatory and supervisory framework of the national capital market, in accordance with best international standards and practices, the Commission has joined a number of international organizations and entities. This enables the Commission to cope with the latest developments in financial market regulation, ensure application of the latest standards and mitigate risks. The Commission is also committed to representing the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan through participation in Arab and international conferences and forums, contributing to the adoption of necessary procedures and taking important decisions when needed, and joining committees affiliated with regional and international organizations such as IOSCO and UASA.
