Dr Ajlouni holds a PHD degree in both Companies Law and Insolvency Law from University of Reading, UK (2002), an LLM degree in Corporate Law and Finance from Widener University, Delaware, USA (1997) an LLB degree from Jordan University (1994) and completed specialized business administration courses at the University of Tampa, USA (1996). He authored and co-authored several legal research papers in insolvency Laws, corporate and commercial law, securities, and investment funds and is the recipient of a number of certificates of achievement in payment systems and other disciplines from Widener University.

Dr. Ajlouni has practiced law for over two decades with particular interest in commercial and financial laws. He held several governmental, professional, and academic posts. Dr. Ajlouni was appointed Director of Al-Ashraf Directorate of the Royal Hashemite Court from 2009-2017 and Director of Private Projects of the Royal Protocol of the Hashemite Court from 2007-2009. He participated in the bilateral committees at the United Nations Compensation Commission from 2003 -2005. Dr. Ajlouni taught commercial and corporate law courses at Jordan University, Faculty of Law between 2003-2005.

Dr. Ajlouni participated, as chairman and/or member in many technical committees tasked for developing policy and strategic planning, law reviews and enactments and projects’ management, development, and assessment.
